Role, Responsibilities: I played a part of Galadriel.

The way I got into the project: Same way as the others - quite occasionally. There was a thread at our forum where the alternative casting was held. There I'm listed as Denetor. When the talk about real shooting began, a half of the virtual cast moved into the real movie one. The part of Frodo became open and at first I decided to fight for it, but it occurred, that my looks are too much different from that character's, but I seemed to be a suitable for Galadriel part. So I am Galadriel now.
General impression: It is very difficult to express it in words. It is pure emotions. On one hand, meeting all the forum folk in person was great. On the other hand, it was a totally new experience - trying to be a real actor. Those, who acted in the movie, will understand me. And it was great to spend time with people whom you like very much.
The best moments: Well, it's the scene where I (Galadriel) call Frodo with me to show him the Mirror. It was extremely funny when Polly came to me with that loony look and I had to look serious. You can have my word for it -it was very, very difficult, almost impossible 'cause the whole crew was laughing like mad behind my back. We made at least 10 takes before the scene was shot.
The things you would like to change: I believe that we had to prepare more thoroughly and seriously, like we do now while preparing for the second movie: casting for the new parts, making costumes, train to fight on swords, etc.
How did your friends/parents react on the project: My friends want to see the results and I guess they envy me a little. Parents think that I'm too childish. But my mom watches photos with pleasure and comments on them.
