The Trouble of the Rings 2: The Towers filmed by Fellowship art group is a parody of the Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It's a second part of the project. The first film - The Trouble of the Rings: The Fellowship was released in December 2002.

The Fellowship art group is a group of Peter Jackson's and Tolkien's fans. We are not professionals but this film gives us a chance to be a part of the Middle-Earth. We are glad that the process of film production unites people of different ages, positions, cities and even countries.

While The Trouble of the Rings: The Fellowship was our ever first experience in film production, it became also our first-grade school in film-making. So in the second film we can express our ideas more adequate and freely. Now we know something about screenplay, shots, cameras, light, editing, sound design etc. In the Trouble of the Rings 2: Towers we were trying to achieve more not only technically but also creatively.

Shooting took place in summer 2003 with more then 100 people participating. We worked hard in difficult weather conditions but nevertheless we enjoyed every minute of it.

The premiere of The Trouble of the Rings 2: The Towers took place on 21st of December 2003 in Moscow. We were glad to introduce our work to the public. We want to say to all participants of our project: "Thank you! You are great. We made it together."
